What obsolete skill am I? According to Quizilla, I am

You are 'Gregg shorthand'. Originally designed to
enable people to write faster, it is also very
useful for writing things which one does not
want other people to read, inasmuch as almost
no one knows shorthand any more.
You know how important it is to do things
efficiently and on time. You also value your
privacy, and (unlike some people) you do not
pretend to be friends with just everyone; that
would be ridiculous. When you do make friends,
you take them seriously, and faithfully keep
what they confide in you to yourself.
Unfortunately, the work which you do (which is
very important, of course) sometimes keeps you
away from social activities, and you are often
lonely. Your problem is that Gregg shorthand
has been obsolete for a long time.

Quite apt, given my new job.
Job is going quite well - the first two weeks have been taken up with the usual hecticness of first-week-of-term, complicated by the fact that I'm starting mid-year and am not registered as a student so the computer people don't quite know how to treat me. I have been collecting logins for the various systems I need to use (where lecturers post up their notes, slides etc) - I'm up to four so far!
Felt very rough this weekend, so no Picocon. Nothing specific, I think it's just my immune system saying "You've spent the last two weeks crammed into lecture theatres with large numbers of teenagers. What did you expect??!!" It has spent the weekend retreating and regrouping, and possibly press-ganging other cells into its service. "I was a perfectly ordinary nerve cell, just popped into The Bug's Head for a pint, and when I woke up I was here in this lymph node, dressed as a leukocyte!"
Bit of humour there. Arf, arf.

That was your mistake right there. It's wild in The Bug's Head.

This morning I *finally* beat your high score on my Bejewelled game.

You are 'Latin'. Even among obsolete skills, the
tongue of the ancient Romans is a real
anachronism. With its profusion of different
cases and conjugations, Latin is more than a
language; it is a whole different way of
thinking about things.
You are very classy, meaning that you value the
classics. You value old things, good things
which have stood the test of time. You value
things which have been proven worthy and
valuable, even if no one else these days sees
them that way. Your life is touched by a
certain 'pietas', or piety; perhaps you are
even a Stoic. Nonetheless, you have a certain
fascination with the grotesque and the profane.
Also, the modern world rejects you like a bad
transplant. Your problem is that Latin has
been obsolete for a long time.
