Playing Hooky

I don't want to go to Spanish class on Tuesday week. I want to go see Blitzen Trapper. They'd be much more fun. Alas, a weekday London gig is not compatible with a 9am driving lesson the next day.

You could not turn up for your lesson, but prepared to explain in Spanish why you weren't there in the next lesson (that's what my Greek teacher did, though in Greek, not Spanish which would have been unreasonable).

Move the driving lesson back a couple of hours, and find someone else who likes Blitzen Trapper.

Do an hour of Spanish study each way on the train, last train back from Liverpool is 23:28 which looks almost doable. The Internet claims it would sell me a gig ticket. The driving instructor does get pretty solidly booked, though. Is two London gigs in a week too many?

I could perhaps treat myself if I get an interview for the job I want.
