Coo, I powered up iTunes and realised I've not listened to any music since the 11th. This has been rectified.

My pay statement includes an element of Holiday Pay. Maybe this means I don't get to take paid holiday...

Dinner party last night was fun, with added Munchkin Booty which works quite well. Munchkin on a pirate theme, with outrageous accents and ships and sharks and stuff.

Today (and a bit of yesterday) my face is hot and red. I'd've thought I'd been out in the sun, if I didn't know for sure that I hadn't. Ouch. Itch.

I have an idea - that a Support Your Local Economy pub crawl might be fun at some point :-)

Panto tomorrow (oh no it isn't).

This is certainly the case with the agencies I registered with as a supply teacher. No actual paid holiday but a rate that is said to include a proportion of holiday pay.

That's what they said, but I assumed they'd hang on to it and only give it to me when I took a holiday :-) Darn, this knocks me a chunk down from median wage.

That's standard agency procedure. Temping has it's pros and its cons. That's one of the cons.

I love the concept of the 'Support Your Local Economy' pub crawl - I will pass the idea on to my sister who runs a comedy club in Nottingham. :)
