Muddy Study

In which [livejournal.com profile] bugshaw discovers just how thick a layer of fine peat dust can accumulate on her bookshelves, envelopes, router, printer etc in a month... I've moved the gerbil tank, half covered it with a cloth, and spent a chunk of evening making damp cloths very brown, and book spines all shiny colourful clean. *coff coff* Maybe I should put the gerbils back in sawdust :-(

I use the same wood chip as I do for the bunnies, hamsters, etc. Still gets a fine layer of dust on everything, but much easier to clean off.

We trailed bird food around the house before thinking to put the bag near the door.
