Because in the Heigh Ho sequence, Grumpy is always behind Doc.

(I didn't know this, I had to look it up.) What does this imply about dwarf hierarchy? Doc, the wise leader in front, Grumpy precedes Happy. Are underperforming dwarfs more effectively motivated by a stick than the carrot of relentless optimism? There might be potential in some of the rest of the band of misfits - Sneezy, unless it's swine flu and he's rechristened Sicknote.

But what I mostly am is Bored. If they redid the story today, Bored would so be a character. Who else? Hoodie? Bratty? Twink? And what better way to put together a new dream team than with a nationwide search for talent, a series of Dwarf Idol??

Also in this series:
Everything I know about organisational culture I learnt subliminally from Star Trek, and
Watching Schindler's List while reading about Maslow's hierarchy of needs makes your brain bleed. Also your heart.

For this moment marks 95 hours of being stuck at home with a bad back, with OU Project Management, the tv, and now (apparently) a mind full of dwarfs. [livejournal.com profile] tamaranth diagnosed a growing case of Cabin Feevar before she left for a friend's wedding I am very sorry not to be able to get to. *cheers [livejournal.com profile] ms_cataclysm and The Beermeister!* *throws confetti* (made of sliced dwarfs)

Heroic types wishing to enact a rescue fantasy in a free evening, pls apply by cavalcade of llamas to watch DVDs and eat delivery food. Otherwise it is back to the OU (have caught up lots, and will shortly be only 2.5 weeks behind on remaining 12).

I shall attempt to come round and bring you BSG sometime soon. You could write a short story...?

That'd be nice :-) I am terribly aware that one season of BSG takes the same time as three weeks of OU... * must * be * strong *

What's that in real time? I'm feeling mildly embarrassed that I got through the final season in five evenings. Though I was still recovering from flu and D was stuck in work, so I had to entertain myself *somehow* ;)

They reckon 6 hours per week. But it's easier to spend time watching BSG than study! I got through some of The West Wing in similar speed...

I watched the final seven episodes of The West Wing all in one afternoon (more flu). And then my brain hurt.

I could add sliced-dwarf confetti to the wedding pics via the wonders of Photoshop, I suppose.

Breakfast conversation included discussion of what was and wasn't legitimate use of PS on wedding pics. Twee is apparently bad, making ladies look thinner is good :-)

So no adding cute baby bunnies in tuxedos gambolling around the feet of the happy couple? :-)

You could display the wedding pictures by having them vomited from the mouth of the Flickr panda?

Ach, if I were closer...! But by the time my llamas reach you with suggested dates, you will undoubtedly be better and skipping about town. Damn distance! Damn it, I say! *is defeated by geography*

I understand that the dwarfs have rather different names in the porn version...
