If the 'Suits You' guys were around in Elizabethan times, would they measure up a client and say "Do you like a bit of ruff, Sir? Ooh, bet you do. Wrapped tight around your head, Sir."

In the real world, I am typing things like '+5 Midwifery' and wondering how good a midwife that would make you if you were an RPG character.

It would make you Mary Cronk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Cronk)

Oh cool! Thanks for that link :-)

Second Life mostly makes me think of people with pet unicorns, and that must be what you need +5 Midwifery to deliver.

But if they were anything like Uni in the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, you'd much prefer -5 midwifery, really.

Oh dear, I'd forgotten about Uni!

This, in general, is a good thing.

I think my Dad has some green (non-latex) gloves of '+5 Midwifery'. Either that or he just read how to do it in a book.

Doesn't "+5 Midwifery" imply a character could deliver sextuplets?
