I saved £50 on wine today, by spending £100...
I like it when you buy 12 things on a Buy 2, get the third free (cheapest is free) offer, and if the things are ordered in decreasing price 1, 2, 3, ...12 they give you 3, 6, 9, 12 free instead of 10, 11, 12.

Also cherry chocolate liqueurs for 50p (Best before May)

Excellent! Sounds like you're spending twice what we do on wine (12 bottles is usually around £80 for us) - they must be very nice indeed. Do have fun drinking them!

(Where did you get that offer?)

This is mostly fancypants wine (including Ngatarawa Silks which MC and I tried in New Zealand), and tiny bottles of golden dessert wine. Given my usual drinking rate this should last me most of the year! Wine Rack has the offer. A small local supermarket whose name shall be redacted is selling out-of-date cherry chocolate liqueurs at 75% off...

Ooh, desert wine. I've been allowing myself some of that on this holiday and loving it. I must stock up when I get home.

Since even the thought of 14p's of wine is enough to bring on a migraine, and was even back in my drinking days, I'm refraining from commenting.

As you were.
