'Twas the night before the night before Christmas, the house was not particularly quiet because some people had come round for mince pies and mulled wine and to look at New Hamsters. "Do you have any modelling wire and tissue paper?" asks [livejournal.com profile] pseudomonas and disappears off to a different room.

Returning, he creates The Dalek Nativity :-) Squee at the tiny swaddling clothes!

Awesome! Or possibly awe-full, in the traditional sense.

Brilliant!

This year, a Dalek made it into my Nativity as an animal and there were three very unusual yet unquestionably wise men...

mince pie? real mince pie with real mincemeat??
I recently learned more than I wanted to know (http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago/mince-pie-the-real-american-pie/Content?oid=1267308) about mince pie, at least the Colonial version.

That was great! Here's hoping that wherever you are celebrating, you are warm and dry and celebrated by good friends, warm cats and clever hamsters. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

That is so brilliant!

As is the "do you have any modelling wire and tissue paper?" getting an affirmative response!
