101.31 Spring clean the study

There are funner things to spend the last of the 101 Days doing than cleaning and clearing the study, but it will be worth it to sort out the jumble it's become as piles get set on heaps which are flipped through and restacked till they're as ordered as a deck of cards that's been cut a dozen times.

The Tai Chi pile seemed small and straightforward enough - a couple of books, a printout of the form, club membership card, um, Queen's Guide certificate, small map of London, and 8x10" glossy of an electricity pylon.

My hands and face are itching with the dust, but I've found nine books of stamps (every time I buy one, I know I've got one at home somewhere), my iPod and charger, and no unpaid bills. Excellent.

I'll have one! I recently tidied our spare room (because my brother kept threatening to visit and then changing his mind again) and found all kinds of useful stuff (though I can't remember any specifics atm).

Stamps weigh almost nothing, and I tend to need them infrequently and in odd places (finish filling out a form at the pub after work), so just leave a few in my wallet.

That said I didn't top up last time I ran out, and have to renew my driving license. Off shopping at lunch time.
