bugshaw at 09:02pm on 14/02/2010It's Mothering Sunday on March 14th (in the UK) and I'd like to scan a load of the family photos I've got from the loft and put them on a memory stick for my Mum.
I can do a few HTML pages, a list of the photos with links, and a few album-style pages showing thematic groups of photos.
What I would like to have is a way she can view groups of photos in categories of her choosing, e.g. by a person's name. Is there a fairly simple way I can do this, or an existing app? She's Windows and on dial-up. If it's a slightly more complicated way, I could maybe do a release 2.0 for her birthday in June :-)
So - app? Database? Tags? Hand-built folders of shortcuts to images? Give each photograph a really descriptive filename? A simple HTML document with a lot of Next/Back buttons?
