Learned response

I'm used to [livejournal.com profile] ozymandias_cat asking to be let out, asking to be let in again, then asking for a treat especially if it has been at all cold and wet because he's been so brave.

This rainy Sunday morning there was no Coke left in the house! I left Ozy inside while I huddled myself up against the short trip to the garage for more caffeinated beverage. He greeted me as I came in, and I was left with an uncommon urge to demand treats :-) Where are my treats?? I went out in the cold!!!! I should have crunchy snacks!!!!!!

In order for this to happen, Ozy needs to learn to the shop to buy human treats to offer as a reward.

And now I will spend a few hours pondering what crunchy snack would pair nicely with Coke.

Coincidentally, today some nice person delivered a miniature box of Shreddies through my door. Free food should be posted more often!

Hmm, boiled sweets? Certainly not Mentoes!

*giggle*

Cray does the same - he wants a reward for peeing in the garden, not the house, thanks very much.

This gets a bit tiresome when he doesn't need to pee but is hungry, so he asks to be let out... and again...

Ozy does that too, I suspect. So much for the plan of using treats as a reward for coming in, when he was new to going out!

Given that he's a cat, the most likely crunchy snack for him to come up with is the hamsters.
