Gosh, a whole week's gone by since my last post, and I've been so busy going out in the evenings I've not had a chance to organise anything social for the weekend :-)

Singalonga The Sound of Music was fun, angua won a prize for her costume, and I've never seen so many nuns in one place since I visited a convent as a kid. False eyelashes! Shouting at a cinema! Someone dressed as a panda for no readily apparent reason! When you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything. And if you use C-D-E instead of do-re-mi you can sing CABBAGE FACE.

I still think it's brilliant that someone came in a gorilla costume. I've often thought the film would be better with gorillas in it.
