Time flies

Got distracted from clearing the study by getting too irked at how slow my PC is, and started to remove programs. "Microsoft Word 2002, that's so old, and it says 'Last Used 2005'. That can go!" Remove. Restart. Where's Word gone? Oh, I'm still on Office 2000 on this machine. Doh...

Maybe it's time for a wipe and reinstall. Of my brain :-/

I have days like that regularly, but I'm 67 - what's your excuse?

Combination of using four different Windows PCs all with different combinations of OS and Office version, and it said I hadn't used it since 2005. I assumed it referred to some ancient version included on the basic install of the PC, that I hadn't used since. How was I to know it was lying?

As Dr House says: Everyone (everything ?) lies?
