Time was when a packet of 25 Air Mail envelopes would last me about a year. Now, I think it's enough to last my entire life. And that's if I get rid of my two spare packets.

Anyone else remember aerogrammes? They used to come in packs of 6, which would typically last me 3-6 months.

And if, like me, you're bad at writing long letters, it gives an excuse to finish early.

I used to live in Forren and so air mail letters were really important.

In fact I still get letters (on paper) from my 91 year old Grandpa in Spain. Well, he isn't always in Spain. He often goes to other countries for opera tours.

I have had half a pack of envelopes sitting in my stationary tower since I moved in here 6 years ago. I think it's time to find another use for them.
