Birthday

That was a good birthday - lots of super presents, food and green beverages, and today I had no hangover.

It was marred somewhat by the Evil Yeasty Bread joint inflammation, and I called in sick because I couldn't even work lying down. But the effects are receding and I should be back to normal soon. As I was feeling bad anyway I sneakily took advantage of a slice of pizza and a whipped cream/creme de menthe pudding, which were delicious and should see me through for a year.

I wished you happy birthday by twitter on the day, I hope you saw it. Sorry it was a lazy way to send a greeting, I actually meant to send a postcard but missed the post. :-/ Maybe I should send it anyway!

We are so sorry we didn't make it. The marquis came home from work feeling under the weather -- he seems to be having late hay fever or some such and is very floppy and below par.
