Colouring

When the old office had seven meeting rooms, it seemed sensible to name them after the rainbow colours. Now several staff have moved to the new office, and their rooms are turned into meeting rooms, we can choose between the previous colours and the new Gold, Lime, Aqua, Magenta, Saffron and Turquoise.

Um, is anyone else thinking about Terry Pratchett's Auditors?

I am now :-) That's what we need to sort out the inefficiencies in the NHS.

For future rooms, I suggest "Plaid", "TCOOS" (The Colour Out Of Space), "Clear", and "Shiny".

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when they were discussing the new names. I wonder if there were arguments about which colours got in? I might, if I were feeling mischievous, stick a "Shiny" label on the cleaning supplies room :-)

Why didn't you stick with the spectrum: infra red, microwave and radio with the other way being ultra violet, x-ray and gamma ray?

[identity profile] bugshaw.livejournal.com 2010-11-11 03:58 pm (UTC)(link)
X-ray would be good, as this is the place where student doctors and dentists come for their annual review...

There you go. And:-

Radio would be a good room to discuss communications.
Microwave for going over catering decisions.
Ultra violet for... er, discussions about Human Resources and bullying.

Er... getting there... very slowly. See www.davidwake.com for progress.
