It should be playing a tune. Looks like he's on a music box ;)

Also, I think it's a female hampster. The males have the most whopping testicles. Seriously, I've seen hamsters with balls bigger than my head.

I could perhaps make a page called HampsterSleep, with various hamster snoozing to soothing music.

All I'd need is a webcam.

When I got him at 12 weeks old he was hyperactive as anything. Two months on and he's turned into a normal hamster (ie preferred activity is sleep).

I've only had rescue hamsters recently, and they seem so delighted to be living in a nice new house that they obligingly come and play a lot. Perhaps I should show Heidi hamster some serious neglect for a couple of months, so she appreciates her humans more ;-) We know she's still in there, because food disappears, and when we clean her tank we discover damp hamster pawmarks in the most outrageous places on the glass. How does she get up there? Perhaps we need a hamstercam.

Technically, George is a rescue, but he was only 12 weeks old. He came in a batch of six - I don't know if they were an unwanted litter that someone had taken a long time to part with or if they were pet store rejects (the latter is unlikely as they are all fluffy, cute and very friendly).

LOL! I love LJ. Someone on my Friends List can always make me smile :-)
"Go Hamsters!" Is this a sleeping hamster or a hamster shaman - Medicine Hamster?

Would you like a userpic of you in your Fish Stomping cape at an Incon? I found the photo again recently.

I thought she was one of the calmer ones - she could almost be doing yoga. I prefer the hampster who jumps in the air then turns around and wiggles its bum, but I don't like the way it's drawn :-(
