Still trying to do way lots of things at the same time! Spent a full weekend on Eastercon Programme Book, am now chasing outstanding Programme Book things and talking to con guests and hotels and treasurers. I have nearly finished a short article for Chunga, and have one more exciting Database Programming lecture to write up before work starts tomorrow at Uni. SF pub meeting at the Cambridge Blue tonight, then on Tuesday we have a lunar eclipse and a friend of Simon's round for dinner.

Next week: the ReadMe, more guest arrangements, preparations for the TAFF party, and working on a fanzine... and, no doubt, any number of last-minute con-running situations.

What sort of thing do lunar eclipses like to eat?

Um, I guess I could have phrased that better...
Perhaps I should put green cheese on the menu.

It made me laugh. Which is good, even if not intended.

Wow - busy!

I don't feel busy. For the last three days I've come downstairs from bed, sat at the computer typing and clicking, and gone back upstairs to bed. Surely being busy should involve more frantic activity? I swear I'll grow taproots into the chair if I sit here much longer.

Oh, I hear you - and I know what you mean about tap-roots. I know I ought to get out (except, perhaps, on cold days when I have bronchitis - except, how else was I to get to see the doctor?), stretch every 30 mins, vary my daily routine etc. etc.

Ah, intellectually business.

BTW, how's Bradshaw Minor?

Heidi? Hiding. Don't blame her.

Doh! I expect you meant Simon's brother. He's much better, though I don't know enough to be specific. He is doing things like not being in of an evening when Simon calls.

Sorry! I did nearly write Bradshaw Junior by mistake ;-)

Hope he is doing really better...

He should apparently have been back to work today for the first time since late last year - according to the doctor, his chest infection is finally clear, but he's been told to take it easy for a while and he's still due an appointment with a chest specialist to try to find out what the underlying problem was. Overall, though, it sounds promising.

Hmm, I have an Eastercon related plan of my own but now I'm not sure if there will be the time to get it completed. The whole work/moving house situation has done for my plans but good. If only Eastercon were not till June. . .

You could always come up for Novacon instead.

What I didn't make clear was the plan revolves around a fanzine rather than any travelling.
