... as they say in Achocalypse Now

Is it overly decadent, to be eating Booja Booja Cognac Flambéd Banana Truffles at this hour in the morning? Well, pass me a fiddle and call me Nero.

I went to bed at 10pm yesterday, too tired to do any more work, but planning to get up early like when [livejournal.com profile] major_clanger does. His alarm went off, and after only 30 minutes I managed to drag myself out of bed and down to the computer, where I discovered it was not 07:30, but 05:42 a.m. in the morning! He had decided to get up early to do con-running...

And being past the point of going back to sleep at least until my Strategic Management Accounting lecture this afternoon, so am I. Pausing only to eat the sumptuous vegan non-dairy tautological gluten-free chocolate truffles which are were sitting on my desk.

EDIT: 08:00 - my alarm clock has just gone off. Bah.

You're so lucky I'm still podged from Chinese buffet last night, or you would be writhing on the floor in an agony of Jealous Attack Via Computer Screen (a new D&D spell I'm working on).

Mmmm, Booja Booja. Mind you, the Espresso ones are great too.

We don't have a television in the bedroom - but we do have 200 paperbacks...

I see your 500 paperbacks in the bedroom and raise you about 1200 comics (mostly DC 60-early 70's)

And you are...?

Comics sound good, but not as good as my lovely books.

Saddo alert. I've set up the laptop on the other side of the double bed so I can tap away in the middle of the night. Its handy as if I retire at 8pm to read one of the 20 books scattered round the bed, I wake up again about 2am...

When I was a poor cripple I spent far too much time lying in bed watching tv or using the computer; I can't bear to do it any more. I hate eating in bed. Reading and sleeping are good, though.
