DIe Hard is a pretty much perfect action movie, with bonus Alan Rickman. What's not to like?

It's a penthouse! Full of yuppies! Yes, it was fun, and The Raid was much the same except Korean and a lot more kicking people in the head. Made me glad to get back to learning about load balancing servers.

Johnny Mnemonic was great for the first minute or so. Then Keanu started talking and it went downhill from there.

[livejournal.com profile] sphyg did an awesome impression of Johnny moving objects in cyberspace clunkily.

One bit, however, was superb. His monologue about how his life was falling apart, culminating in his plaintive cry "I want...room service!".

Heh, I can't remember that bit. My main memories of that film are "different from the book" and "mm, Keanu's pretty."
