Right! I'm off out to the pub to see if I can scrounge a lift for some cardboard boxes spend some quality time with some Good Friends.

When I get back, I'd like to see some slogans I can put on badges in support of my TAFF campaign! Unfortunately this is the first time I've had to work on it :-(
I should be making a load of chocolates for the TAFF party at Eastercon - I have the ingredients, and now I just have to cross my fingers and hope everything works okay... If it all turns into a big gooey mess, I shall be bringing something I shall title "A History Of Trans-Atlantis, in Interpretative Chocolate". A one-off piece of art, what am I bid? 50p anywhere, Bueller?

EDIT: Well, that was a short pub trip. It was too full, and I daren't risk putting my back out before Easter. And I'm disappointed in you. "Bug for TAFF? I'd rather dye my hair badly." Is that the best you can do?

If it all turns into a gooey mess, you can call it "dip".

"Bug for TAFF -- Dip for victory."

I could go with that... is it too late to get a chocolate fountain and would the hotel complain...

Who cares if the hotel complains - none of the fans will....

Sparks is running Twister in the same room. I reckon melted chocolate would give a lot better traction than baby oil.

Okay. That's not a very good slogan although it's a good description of my attempt to colour my hair.

I've gone blank.

At least your body's brown and your hair isn't ORANGE. I'm going to have to pay quite a lot to get a brown body ...

Parts of my body have now gone black. It looks like I'm going to have to do some heavy duty removal from my skin. The web tells me nail polish remover, hairspray or WD40!

Of those, I'd pick the WD40 anytime! Yuck !!!

And you're not coming to Eastercon and allowing people to "assist" for 50p a go?

*shudder*

And not in anticipation.

How about "Bug for TAFF - She knows her ISO"

This badge is A7. If you buy 128 of them, you'll have a whole square metre!

Goes and measures lamination pouches - darn! the pouches are A7, so the design would have to be -- a non-metric proportion of that. Gah!

Bridget's brain goes Spung! with the idea of printing 128 badges, each with a different design on the back which, when placed with other badges, forms a secret picture! Just like the Star Wars bubblegum cards she collected as a child!

Or I could go with another ISO - the ISO OSI seven layer model of computer networks. That would be very fascinating.

I do have an Idea but I have to see if it works. If it does, it is an idea both Great and Terrible. Bwa ha ha!

I could go with "Don't Bug me, Bug Bridget Bradshaw".

Actually, I think I might. And I can make myself a badge which says "Have you tried asking Ops?"

(I'm so evil I scare me)

Okay, these are bad, but you asked:

de-Bug Britain
Support the Trans-Atlantic Fruit Fly
The Bug Doesn't Stop Here
Bridget's Jones for non-Dairy
Obsession for TAFF

Well, maybe the last one isn't so bad.
