Where I went on my holidays

Belgium, Paris (outskirts), a road trip through French vineyards to Spain, Sweden, GDR, Berlin, a desert, Korea, the circus, the West End, "the East", Formentera, Barcelona, a shrink, Maine, a house where a grisly murder took place, Mexico, Ruskin's Pond, scuba diving, Catalonia, the Congo, and prison (twice).

Oh, and the Cambridge Film Festival.

I'm going on a Trip to the Moon next Sunday.

I was just recommending Duncan Jones' Moon to someone yesterday (apropos of the awed hush you can get in a cinema sometimes cf home DVD), but the one I'm off to see is Méliès'.

:-) Made it to Paris today, a stroll along the Seine. And an apartment building in Spain with a thoroughly creepy concierge. And my third brothel of the week.
