Books Read March/April

I warn you, my book-reading progress has been absolutely pants.

Books read since 5 March:

Mortal Love, Elizabeth Hand (2004)
Brontomek!, Michael Coney (1976)
The Embedding, Ian Watson (1973)

2006 total books read 17, a stack of 29.3 cm. Slowed riiiight down due to Eastercon. I read the Programme book and anthology 8 times each, if that counts?
2006 total books acquired 46, including 24 from Eastercon.

Currently reading: The King's Last Song (Geoff Ryman)

Do you mean The Embedded, rather than the Embedding?

I just finished that and was very underwhelmed. I didn't buy the basic premise and the plot threads all seemed to peter out in the end.
