Hmm interesting. I've seen a lot of the same new releases as you this month tho not yet Macbeth which I missed in its window at Free CinecardWorld. I'm intrigued you liked Sicario enough to see twice as a few people put me off seeing it -I should prob try and catch it. I liked The Martian more than you (note book and film I think) but was totally blown away by The Lobster which far from being a coupledom movie, is , jeez, as one Tweeter said, like the. worst bad date movie ever ! I feel a second viewing would be rewarding but I'm not sure I can quite face it!

ps as one of the few people I know who's probably seen both, didn't the Farrell character in Lobster remind you terribly of the lead in Her? What is it with these badly dressed repressed male dystopian leads??

Ps I'm actually in Cambridge right now on fleeting work visit! They want me to come down again for Nov 15 which I'm somewhat resistant to ( just too many trips right now) - it would sweeten the pill if anything nice was on! When are all these book and film clubs!
