Lost the Internet yesterday, but it's back now.

What do you do when you don't have the Internet? Sort out some stuff! We have a number of videos we don't want to keep - free to good home, cost of postage appreciated (170p 1st class, 139p 2nd class) or suggestion of where to exchange.

  • Batman Returns

  • Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

  • Flash Gordon

  • The Fly (Jeff Goldblum)

  • The Last Emperor

  • Loaded Weapon 1 (National Lampoon)

  • Noah and Nelly in the skylark (kids tv series)

  • Project A-Ko

  • Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Emissary (episode 1)

  • Three Of A Kind (you remember, comedy sketch show from the 80s, Tracy Ullman, Lenny Henry, David Copperfield (not the magician))

  • Unbroadcastable Have I Got News For You

Yes, the moral of this turned out to be 'ensure you have downloaded and installed the latest firmware patch for your router before upgrading your ADSL'. Otherwise you will have to dig out the phone lead and download it the old-fashioned bay - at 40 kbit/s. D'oh!

But we now have 8 Mbit/s internet. It just snarfed the latest OS X patches - about 60 MB - in just over a minute.

Don't worry about it - take it as trade for a Zoo Nation or for your work for Concussion or something? Is bagged and ready to go.

I hadn't expected interest from outside the UK - the videos are all PAL format (not NTSC) and the postage would be approximately 13UKP/23USD air mail or 6.5UKP/12USD surface mail. I'm happy to send them if you would still like them.

Oh, yeah. I don't have a PAL player, unless I played them through my computer. Thanks anyway! I should have thought of that.

Yes please - bugshaw at cix dot co dot uk. I'll wait a couple of days before posting them in case [livejournal.com profile] tamiam wants them despite them being bizarre European format. Whereas you are a bizarre European. ;-)
