A Bug's Life

I had a regular checkup a couple of years ago, the dentist said one of my wisdom teeth was growing crooked and would need to come out sometime in the next year. She seemed a little surprised when I asked "Is now good for you?" as, apparently, many people would rather delay the inevitable and face both an operation and the irritation of trying to get a dental appointment within three months of asking for one. Fortunately, she was running on time and yanked the tooth there and then.
