Ooh, must pick up a ticket for this. Now when can I get to the Grafton centre when Heffers are open before Thursday...

You could wave at me and I could fetch one for you? Or phone; they'll put you on a list and ask you to pay on the door.

Oh if I can phone and pay on the door then that's not a problem.

That's quite serious competition for the Ton! Guess we won't be seeing anyone from Cambridge on Thursday then...

Ooh, thanks for posting this; I had it in my head that it was on the 16th, so I would have completely missed it.

Maybe we will outnumber the authors...

It's a ridiculously large number of authors - I'd heard from [livejournal.com profile] bellinghwoman that there was a lot of them when she was finding out where and how last week.

([livejournal.com profile] jemck mentioned it on her journal a while back.)

I've never felt entirely comfortable at this event although it's occasionally being interesting. The lack of structure and generally no one to go with doesn't help

I had wondered about the structurelessness, which put me off getting a ticket for ages. There will, this time, be plenty of people to go with. I know a few of the authors from con-running, which gives me a bit of an in, or at least a conversation-starter... even if "Hi! This is an odd sort of event, what do you hope to get out of it?"
