bugshaw at 05:38pm on 31/10/2006I nearly posted earlier about how excellent it was that nothing bad had happened this week, the first time in six weeks. Hurrah!
Then I heard the news about Convoy being cancelled. I am sorry this has happened, and hope that something does arise as a substitute. It will of course be difficult to a) find hotels, and b) find people to find hotels. I will listen out for the discussion which will no doubt take place at, before, and shortly after Novacon.
This does have implications for the current TAFF race. It is not clear exactly what the implications will be, and they will be affected by the outcome of upcoming discussion, but Suzle and I will be following the situation and looking at options.
In other news: it's Hallow'een. I feel very Scrooge-like this evening, and have turned off the lights in the front and bottom of the house, to retreat to my back study. If any children still come knocking, I am tempted to be very corruptive and give them beer ;-)
