Now that's what I call rain. Not terribly heavy, but with immense soakfulness. I wish I'd put my Java book inside the carrier bag in my rucksack, rather than just chucking it in on its own. It has just gone a bit warped at the corners, but when I pressed down on the corner beads of water appeared at the edges, and I've never seen that before.
I walked in with
major_clanger across The Meadows, which was like an exciting puzzle-solving game: there are many paths crossing The Meadows; many of them are under water at some point; is it possible to walk across without getting your feet wet? S says it used to be a loch, and it looks like it's trying to turn back into one.
Two hours since I came in, and my jumper is still damp and clammy :-(

I can't remember if your flat has an airing cupboard, I suggest sticking the java book in there for a couple of hours if it does.

Am still damp. I want a job, with an office, where I can keep a spare t-shirt.
