A Bug's Life

I was with you when I got my feet measured. Size four in length and yet I have to wear size 6 or 7s to accommodate the width. Stupid things. Never found a pair of DMs I could cope with, and struggle with just about everything else. Got some nice paratrooper boots - way too long but very comfortable once I wear the right amount of sock (1 long thin sock, plus one fluffy thick one does it, or at a push 1 thick trekking sock per foot). However I am wearing down the heels at a frightening rate, can't get the metal seg things to stay in the rubber to help mitigate this, and can't find anywhere that will sell me another pair now the first place has run out of my size. My feet are RUBBISH. They're also prone to plantar fasciitis, and rolling over outwards, even when wearing flat shoes, causing me hurty ankleness on regular occasions. Stupid feet. I won't even go into the blisters, skin build up and cracked heels...
