Even though I am a friend-of-friend dropping by on a specific mission I am compelled to comment! Yargh.

I tried on shoes in Sundaes and they caused me great woe in the toe, so I think my feet may be freakish enough to surpass even them. However - there is a shop called Cavendish Shoes on Cavendish Road off Mill Road that has lots of wide fitting shoes, at least some of which do not look like clown shoes or cost more than I will ever own without selling a kidney, and the man who runs it is very nice too.

I found the same thing; my last three pairs of shoes have come from Cavendish, and I'm due a trip for a new pair. When I first walked in the shop, the man looked at my feet and told me what size I was :-)

Hi, there. I think these are the people who do my shoe repairs, and I can confirm their niceness. The gentleman is ill at the moment, however - I think he has had a heart attack, and they don't know when he'll be back. I still prefer Sundaes for style, however.

Oh dear! Poor chap.

Yes, Sundaes has a much nicer range of styles, but unfortunately they didn't have anything to fit me. I bought a pair anyway because I had No Shoes but I can't wear them without damage :-(
