My Friends page is full of snow and snuggling this morning.

I have a dead mouse, tidily laid out in front of the tumble dryer (presumably by the cats).

I didn't hurt my back at last night's party. We ended up having some sort of Iron Woman thing - BB can do squats with BC sitting on her back; BC can do press-ups; L can do proper sit-ups. We didn't test the theory, but I think anyone could take me at arm-wrestling. I got tipsy and ate stilton.

I have a nice quiet day today, then a couple of busy ones.

The camels have gone East for the winter.

Life is good :-)

(presumably by the cats).

One can only hope so, because if the tumble-drier did it itself, I'd recommend exorcism.

It's bad enough when cats play with one's computer, but you'd think they could tell you about the parts they break rather than just leaving them on the floor.

When I worked at the Drury Lane Theatre in London, the house ghost would occasionally take up residence in the extra dish washer in the kitchen - especially if I was working on a day when the house was dark. I think he was lonely.

What, the Man in Grey himself? My word! Bit more stylish than having your white goods possessed by a cat.

He wasn't bad, but occasionally he would get churlish if I had left him alone over a weekend when no one was around.

She's taller, but otherwise you have similar body shapes. She puts it down to cycling.

I think I meant to say 'I should start cycling' ;) I have a bike but I need to pump the tyres up.

And DOH! She's E, not L. But it would confuse things if I were to change it now.

Years ago, back in Texas, my cat used to leave the occasional lizard half in front of the door, or walk inside with a small bird in his mouth. In fact, one time, here in Colorado, he pounced and came up with a startled-looking mouse trapped inside his jaws, who as far as I can tell has not made a return visit. (It was a catch-and-release.) It's been a long time since he's proudly displayed any trophies. While it's possible he's gotten older in the intervening years, I'm sure he (and I) would contend that the birds and mice have gotten younger and faster.

Heh. I told [livejournal.com profile] ms_cataclysm about the mouse; she thinks it was found conveniently dead and brought in for showing-off with :-)
