Moving house in two weeks. Better get sorted, then - I find a deadline concentrates the mind marvellously... This is the shortest distance move I've done; if my back were better I'd be able to do it all by bicycle (except for the printer, computer, tumble dryer, and cupboard) though it would take some 20 trips.

Housemove numbers for stats fans:
I lived in the same house for 14 years (returning, on and off - my father's house).
In the last 25 years I have lived in 14 different places, two of them twice.
These have included 4 student flats and 5 RAF places.

Thanks - I'll probably put out a call for Friends With Cars next week. (I asked my driving instructor if he might pick me (and some boxes) up from House A, I drive around for an hour, and unload at House B but he didn't seem keen ;-) I expect they have specific learning objectives for me to attain instead.

I'm likely to be a friend with 2 cargo trailers and a perfectly OK back, but I don't know when you are moving and if I'll be in Cambridge.

My window is weekdays/evenings/weekends Tu 9 - Sun 14 Sep. Thanks for the offer, even if nothing comes of it :-)

I'll keep half an eye out for plans closer to the time. If the Y-Frame Large comes I can easily do printer, tumble dryer, etc.
