This is shaping up to be a very quiet weekend. Not that that's a bad thing. I am kicking myself somewhat for not spending yesterday evening looking for the TAFF banking paperwork, as I have a rare opportunity to get to the bank while it's open. Vote more! But now - shopping. And tomorrow - Kettle's Yard for the last day of their Open exhibition. Will kick self if don't get there.

[livejournal.com profile] ozymandias_cat is not quiet. When using the litter box at night, he sounds like he's sanding floorboards. And we don't even have floorboards!

All cats have a Species Imperative to make a much noise as possible in the litter-box. We think Moon is aiming to reach Australia.

You could use the wood litter (Beauticat I think it's called) which is soft so therefore quieter. And it smells nicer.

You could also get one of those litter tray boxes which encloses the noise, smell and any kicked up litter - if you haven't already of course!

We have one of those. We're still deafened by the noise of the deaf cat's middle-of-the-night scrabblings and get to walk through the scattered bits in the morning. Does keep the niff down tho'.
